Well, I haven't posted since we got affiliated on Twitch and that just won't do. I've been keeping myself busy with art and other nonsense, but have gone through here and updated some things that needed to be tended to - like the Gallery section, which desperately needed to be tidied up!
Also, for the time being, my stream schedule is going to be fiddled about a bit. This is just because right now it's the best time for me at the moment:
The times are, of course, in Central time. Which means that if you're on Pacific time, that's 5am, Mountain time is 6am, and Eastern time is 8am. The streams will last from 6 to 8 hours roughly - I hope to see you there! I'll be sure to post when the schedule changes again, and I'm sorry for the sudden shift!
On Saturday, June 10th, 2017 I was the featured Design Doll on StevieRaeDrawn's timeslot on the Adobe channel on Twitch!
It was a 3-hour long stream, and it was absolutely TONS of fun! Here's what I worked on:
Other things that I'd like to write about, if only to remind myself of what I need to keep up with...
I want to try to remember to update the Gazette each week with pictures of what I worked on during streams, and possible upcoming events and the like. This is going to be in tandem with my attempting to post to social media more often with updates. I'm also going to be trying to get at least one youtube video up each week. These are all things that I really should be more on top of, but haven't been. I also need to remember to update my shops with the recent artworks that I've gathered up -- you may or may not have noticed that the shop section links to 3 shops: My main shop (SHOP), A Gumroad Shop, and a Redbubble Shop. Each one has its own merits and benefits. Right now the Gumroad shop only has a digital version of my artbook in it.
I'm planning on putting together another artbook that will be posted up on Gumroad before anywhere else. Mostly, I'm not a huge fan of the style of book that I ended up with using the company that I did for the first artbook. While this style of book would be good for coloring books, it's not the best for full-color art books. I'll have to look into other publication places in the future for that.
I also have plans for a coloring book - which most likely will no longer be the monster girl one I had initially planned. I also have plans for a calendar project, which I really should start working on right now if I want to get it done in time for 2018.
Unpacking has come to a stand-still, and a lot of my art supplies are still in boxes where I can't get to them. I need to take some time to work on getting through those things at some point in the future - it's been 4 months already and I've not finished clearing up. It's becoming quite a problem - especially since the cats keep wanting to climb through all the boxes, and I'm worried they'll get themselves hurt because of it. So hopefully over the weekends that will be one of the things that I try to take care of.
I also want to give a huge thank you to the Creative Community on Twitch - specifically the community that follows my pal PrendorianCrab! They were a huge help to me recently, and I can't say thank you enough for what they all managed to do for me. You're all amazing and I love you! prenLove all the way!
Another thing you all will enjoy, thanks to PrendorianCrab - Eccentric Bingo (maybe I'll call it Eccentrigo)! Pren recently posted some fun twitch-specific bingo cards on her twitter page for her own channel. She also made cards for some other streamers, including me! I've been working on making some more cards that my community can use during the stream, too!
If you can think of any things you think should be on one of these Emporium-specific stream bingo cards, be sure to let me know! I want to make a bunch of cards for everyone to use!
I'm going to be attempting to do some sketchbook challenges, as well as practice my watercolor a bit more often during my streams, so if that's something that interests you, be sure to stop on by!
I think that's just about everything I can think of to update you all with, so I hope this was informative! If you've got questions or suggestions, be sure to shoot me a comment, send me a tweet, or even contact me via the contact form!
